Earthquake shakes residents awake

CUL DE SAC--Many residents, in particular light sleepers, were given an unexpected wake up call around 2:00am today, Friday when an earthquake shook them up.


The tremour originated off some nine kilometres from Dieppe Bay Town, St. Kitts & Nevis and had a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter Scale, according to trackers.
Already awake and alert, a number of residents took to Facebook to share their experience of being shaken from their beds.
