DNA samples of human remains sent for testing

PHILIPSBURG--Police announced on Friday that in connection with the ongoing investigation regarding the human remains that were discovered on Tuesday at Belair Beach, it has become clear to the investigators that these remains are from two different persons whose identity has not yet been officially established.

DNA samples of these remains have been collected to be sent to the Forensic Laboratory in the Netherlands for further investigation. There are, however, indications that these remains may be linked to the Mars investigation. The Mars investigation has to do with the two missing men who were last seen at Simpson Bay Resort in December last year.
