Clarification

During the Court hearing in the Papegaai investigation on Tuesday, March 14, the Prosecutor’s Office stated among other things that the management of Casa Blanca succeeds in employing women for periods longer than six months and that these “women are placed as newcomers on the list of Immigration [and Border Protection – Ed.] Service and the Inspectorate of [Public Health, Social Services and – Ed] Labour. Contacts with these services were tapped to realise this.”

The use of the word “services” in this regard conveyed an incorrect image that “wrong contacts” at the Inspectorate of Labour compiled these lists. The investigation did not reveal such a link. The Prosecutor’s Office hereby wants to resolve this incorrect image, the Office said Wednesday in a statement.
