Caribbean Travel Marketplace

St. Maarten Public Health and Labour Minister Emil Lee and St. Martin Tourist Office President Jeanne Rogers-Vanterpool are in the Bahamas representing the country at the 2017 Caribbean Travel Marketplace. The two officials will be drumming up business for the island via their respective tourist bureaux. Lee is no stranger to the Marketplace organiser Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA); he served as its president prior to stepping down to take up a ministerial post. The gathering of tourism and hotel professionals from across the region opened in Atlantis Paradise Island on Tuesday evening. The marketplace will be in full swing today, Wednesday, and Thursday.
