Jackie Anderson Bennett was not expecting any carrots when the starter course was served at the White Asparagus Dinner held in Holland House on Saturday evening, but she did receive them in another form: a diamond ring. Her now-fiancé John Wolff got down on one knee to propose, and she immediately said yes. Wolff, the chief investment officer at NAGICO Insurances, said the two had known each other for some three years, but recently things between them have gotten serious.
