Appointment of judges to Joint Court of Justice

PHILIPSBURG--The Kingdom Council of Ministers has decided to nominate several judges for appointment to the Joint Court of Justice, on the proposal of Dutch Minister of Legal Protection Sander Dekker, also on behalf of his colleagues from Aruba, Curaçao and St. Maarten.

  Effective from the date on which the Royal Decree is signed, B.J. van Ettekoven and Eric J. Daalder will be appointed as deputy members. Kimberly “Kim” Lasten will be appointed as a Joint Court member as of September 1.

  In addition, it was decided to nominate for appointment Luigi M. Virginia, partner at HBN Law, as a member of the Law Enforcement Council.
