PHILIPSBURG--Dominican Republic organisation Semana Dominicana hosted the annual Dominicana Independence Day celebration on Sunday.
The parade started at Le Grand Marché on Bush Road at 2:00pm and made its way through Philipsburg.
Dominicano nationals dressed in their traditional flag colours, traditional outfits, T-shirts, costumes, etc., enjoyed national music and dance.
The group thanked all residents who lined up on the sides of the streets and witnessed the parade.
