Educare Foundation hosted its first pregnancy expo on July 6 with the aim of having all medical professionals, organisations and vendors in the field of maternal health under one roof.
The expo targeted (expectant) parents and the wider community with information sessions on having a healthy mind before and after pregnancy, healthy eating during pregnancy, baby attachment, and breastfeeding. Topics also included baby skincare, physical therapy, prenatal yoga, belly casting and sculptures, health insurance, and baby clothing. Educare was founded by Sabrina Vrutaal in 2015 with the goal of enhancing quality of life with early childhood education for parents, and prenatal and postnatal support.
