6th Balloon Jump-Up colours up the streets

PHILIPSBURG--The sixth annual Survivors Children’s Balloon Jump-Up did not disappoint participants who paraded the streets of Philipsburg on Sunday afternoon.

The Carnival troupe was elated to once again put on the jump-up specifically for children who wanted to participate in jump-up-like atmosphere. The event started from the Carrefour parking lot on Bush Road at 3:00pm sharp.

The police provided the usual guidance for the afternoon jump-up while Mixmaster Pauly’s DJ truck  provided music for participants. Hundreds of participants got creative with their plain T-shirts and balloons provided to them by the Survivors troupe.

Organiser Jasmine Philips thanked all parents and participants for choosing the troupe again this year and encouraged them to join Survivors’ children’s troupe later for the annual parade festivities.
