   Thunderz win SESBA knockout finals

ST. EUSTATIUS – Thunderz bested Golden Rays to win the St. Eustatius Softball Association (SESBA) knockout competition final Sunday.
The game was an exhibition of power as both teams hit multiple home runs. In the second inning Thunderz Reinier Dinzey had an infield home run.
In the top of the third inning the Thunderz took a 6-1 lead, but the Golden Rays responded by scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the third inning to go up 7-6.


Thunderz dug deep and came back strong to win the final 16-9 in 6 innings.
The winning pitcher was Thunderz player Reinier Dinzey.
The 2021 SESBA regular season will kickoff June 2021.
The league is asking for all females that would like to play softball this upcoming season to contact SESBA at their facebook site to sign up.
