ST.EUSTATIUS – Thunderz took a commanding 2-0 lead in the best of 5 game Statia softball finals. Thunder defeated the Lions both Saturday and Sunday. Thunderz wearing pink and teal colours for breasts and ovarian cancer won Sunday 11-5.
Thunders won Saturday 10-8. The game had been protested by Lions. The protest was upheald and a portion of the game had to be replayed from the top of the 7th inning with 1 out. Thunderz lead 10-7.
Game 3 is set to take place on Sunday.
