ST. EUSTATIUS – Ninety-five runs were scored in two games during the St. Eustatius Softball Association competition at the Frederick “Sonny” Cranston ball field on Sunday.
Thunderz played the Young Kings in the early game and City Boys battled Tiburones.
Thunderz defeat the Kings 18-8. With the win, Thunderz end the regular season at 11-1 and the top seed going into the playoffs.
City Boys put in a valiant effort to play spoiler in their game against Tiburones. Both teams came out swinging and racked up some impressive offensive numbers, but ultimately Tiburones won 39-30.
The final game of the regular season will take place tonight.
Lions take on Tiburones.
