The loan goal came from a nice build-up from the right wing, followed by a through ball from captain Jean Jacques Craane to Koornwinder.
The remainder of the first half St. Maarten had the upper hand which resulted in several chances for Koornwinder, Mark Lawrie and Matteo Piscione.
At the break the coaches were content with the game plan execution and chances created, but less happy with the fact that instead of a 3 or 4 to none by halftime it remain just 1-0.
