Softball pitching clinic well attended

POND ISLAND—Forty-two athletes, coaches and parents completed the Basic Softball Pitching Clinic held at the Erwin “Baco” Richardson Little League Stadium this past week. Carmelita Haynes and Marina Haynes from H.O.P.E.X. Foundation in Aruba ran the six day long program. “This is an outstanding achievement, a demonstration of incredible skills, teamwork, and dedication to progress in the sport of softball,” said Michel Hyman.

The St. Marten Little League president continued, “the board of the St. Maarten Little League Association is immensely proud of each and every one of you!” Plans are already underway for the Intermediate Pitching Clinic later this year.

“The road to becoming a softball pitcher has just begun. Keep putting what you've learned over the past six days into your daily practice and play, and the St. The Maarten Little League Board will support you and watch as you develop as a softball player.”
