GRAND CASE--The Collectivité informs the inhabitants of Grand Case of the start of renovation work at the Grand Case sports ground. This work will take place in several phases, the first of which consists of replacing the sports equipment.
The Collectivité will install two new basketball hoops out of the four existing ones, as well as the installation of two football/handball goals, which will make it possible to diversify the sports offered to users.
This work will require operations to cut the pavement, earthworks and pour concrete blocks, with the intervention of construction machinery. Motorists are asked not to park nearby during the work, in order to allow the smooth running of the operations and to allow the passage of construction machinery.
Pedestrians are asked not to walk on areas where the concrete has been freshly poured, until the beds have completely dried. This work is part of a more global programme to renovate the sports ground, which will continue, in the coming months, with the installation of lighting, then the complete repair of the flooring.
