Paulson breaks open Pool League with third win of the season

Josue Hyacinth and Brian Paulson are the top players in the St. Maarten Pool League.

 MIDDLE REGION-- Brian Paulson has won the St. Maarten Pool League's fourth ranking tournament of the 2023-24 season. This is the third victory out of the four tournaments held thus far this season. Paulson leads the competition with 168 points.

Second at Saturday’s tournament at Shark's in Middle Region was Josue Hyacinth. Hyacinth is recond second overall with 103 points. In third place overall is Nyell Sprott. He is followed by Brell Garrey Bennett in fourth, and Paul Michael Zurita in fifth place. Rounding out the top ten are Panho Mo in sixth, Raul Edillo in seventh, Denis Francisco Romney tied for eighth with Granville Williams and Joseph Priest. The tournaments are open to everyone and are held every other Saturday at Sharks. Points are awarded on finishing position, and are averaged for the overall national ranking.
