BELAIR--The renowned Padel influencer Sandy Farquharson, founder of The Padel School, is on island and will be giving clinics at SXM Padel Club in Belair from today Tuesday to Friday only from 7:00am to 10:00am and from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

This is an exclusive opportunity for Padel enthusiasts to participate in the clinics. According to Farquharson’s LinkedIn profile, The Padel School, is one of the leading education platforms within the game of Padel. Originally hailing from a tennis background and working extensively as a tennis coach, he previously coached ATP and WTA players on the tennis circuit. In 2012, he discovered Padel and it has since been his vision to build the largest Padel community in the world and provide support to players, coaches and clubs across the globe. From 2012, he held the role of Rackets Manager at the NAS Sports Complex in Dubai for over eight years, where he was also the personal coach to Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. During this period, he had substantial Padel training in Spain with some of the world’s top Padel coaches. Following this, he began to organise international tournaments for the WPT and FIP, as well as coach national teams in both the UAE and Great Britain. Additionally, he played Padel for Great Britain in both the World and European Championships. “Combining my love for the game, with my drive to offer unparalleled education to both players and coaches in the world of racket sports, is what led me to create The Padel School,” he says. The Padel School’s mission is to give the Padel community the tools to take their on-court performance to a new level, which will in turn grow the sport into a powerhouse across the globe.

Like-minded Padel players and coaches are given the information and tools they need to unlock their Padel potential, with our strong focus on community, both across our digital platforms and in-person offerings. The Padel School has an extensive digital platform (www.thepadelschool.com) which has been specifically designed to enable players to play their best ever Padel. Aside from the online platform, in-person training and clinics are given across the world for players and coaches. Additionally, support and advice is offered to those who also want to see the game of Padel develop into a huge success, whether that be clubs, tournament organisers or investors.
