Moto Cross, Quads, season-ending finals this Sunday 29th in Bellevue

MARIGOT—The SXM Moto Cross Association will organise the season-ending championship finals this coming Sunday, May 29, in the Bellevue moto cross park from 10:00am, to determine the rankings and best riders in each category. Riders will be coming from St. Martin/St. Maarten, Guadeloupe and Martinique.


The fifth of these well-organised demonstration events showcases the skills of local riders, children, teenagers, adults, beginners and pros, on Moto Cross bikes, Quads, and the small “Piwi” Yamaha bikes for children. Moto Cross riders are divided into two categories, A and B. Spectators are guaranteed plenty of thrills, non-stop action, and big jumps
The schedule is as follows: 7:00 am. Opening of the park, 8:00 am Registration and payment, 8:30 am closing of registration and closure of the rider park vehicle Access, 8:30 am. 8:45 am briefing for all riders and course officials.
9:00am. Kids on the adult field in short version 10minutes, 9:10 am. PIWI on the small field / Quads on the large course, 9:20 am. Series B 15min
9:35 am. Category A 15 minutes, 10:00 am children on half course 7minutes + one round, 10:30 am PIWI 8 minutes + one round / Quads 15minutes plus one round.
11:00 am. Category B 15 minutes plus one round, 11:30 am. Category A 18 minutes plus one round, 11:00 am to 1:00pm lunch, 12:00 pm children on half course, seven minutes plus one round, 12:30pm. PIWI eight minutes plus one round and Quads 15 minutes plus one round, 1:00 pm. Category B 15 minutes plus one round, 1.30 pm. Category A 18 minutes plus one round.
2:00pm. Children half course seven minutes plus one round, 2:30 pm. PIWI eight minutes plus one round, Quads 15 minutes plus one round, 3:00 pm. Category B 15 minutes plus one round, 3:30 pm. Category A 18 minutes plus one round.
4:00pm prizegiving and acknowledgments. 5:00pm cleaning up and closing of the park. Entry is free for spectators. Local food, fresh juices and BBQ by Christelle. Music by DJ VroumVroum.
