Grandmaster Liu resumes Taekwondo Thursday

ST. PETERS--Grandmaster Theo Liu will begin training his students of the King Yen Taekwondo School at the Hillside Christian in St. Peters on Thursday.

Children age five to nine will practice from 5:00 to 6:00pm. The age 10 to 16 year olds will train from 6:00 to 7:00pm and the adults from 7:00 to 8:00pm.
“I am inviting all my students to come out,” said the Grandmaster. “Even those that normally train at Sister Marie Laurence. That school has been damaged, so we will all train in St. Peters.”
The Grandmaster continued, “It is important for the children to get back to a normal routine. Even the adults can use a little stress relief.”
Grandmaster Liu had been preparing two team to travel in October. One squad was set to compete in the Dominican Republic this weekend and another team was to travel to Florida for the ESPN Championships.
The King Yen School has competed in Florida in the past and was featured on ESPN.
