Grandmaster Liu honoured by KUKKIWON in Korea

ST. PETERS--Grandmaster Theo Liu of the King Yen Taekwondo School has been honoured by the KUKKIWON (World Taekwondo Headquarters) in Korea.


  Liu has been recognized as  “a top ranked KUKKIWON Membership System Master” for the year 2019.
“Through your passion and love for Taekwondo, last year, KUKKIWON discharged an estimate of 130,000 new Taekwondo trainees which build the foundation to increase the value of KUKKIWON Taekwondo all around the world,” said the letter to the grandmaster.
  The KUKKIWON Membership System is used to standardize the testing and technical skills for the issuing of  Taekwondo Certificates.
  The King Yen Taekwondo School holds belt examinations from beginner to black belt every quarter. The school also travels to several regional and international tournaments each year and returns with lots of medals and many Best International Team Awards.
