Team Island Water World sailor Frits Bus, sailed into third place in the Master class at the annual Midwinter Laser Regatta in Cabarete, Dominican Republic last weekend.
American sailor Mark Brink finished first and former Caribbean Laser champion, Rual Aguyo finished first overall. Cabarete is used as a training area in the winter for the northern hemisphere for sailors starting their Olympic campaigns. Three days of strong winds and heavy seas made it a challenge for all sailors. After some breakage the second day racing had to be cancelled due to the high waves.
