CAY HILL--Four teams have booked places for the National Sports Institute (NSI) Soccer tourney which is currently in progress at Roaul Illidge Sport Complex every Wednesday night.
The tournament, which is geared to attract local business teams to be engaged in soccer, registered six teams. Last night, which was the last night for the preliminary round, saw wins for Gulf Insurances, Windward Islands Bank and NSI.
Gulf Insurances defeated NAGICO by 2-0, WIB overcame Teachers by 2-1 and NSI registered its first win via default, because ILTT did not show up.
The four playoff teams are Gulf Insurance on 13 points, Windward Islands Bank on 12 points, Teachers on 10 points and NAGICO on six points.
On October 12, there will be two play-off matches. The two play-off matches will be played at the same time. Gulf Insurances will do battle against NAGICO and Windward Islands Bank will match skills with Teachers.
