First Carifta Qualifier at Sport Complex Sunday

CAY BAY—Anguilla is expected to field a team of 30 athletes as the St. Maarten Amateur Athletic Association / Federation host the first 2018 national CARIFTA Game


Qualifier at the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex Sunday. The Qualifier will be grouped into Under 18 and Under 20.
The meet will feature field, jumping, hurdles, sprint and distance events.
There will also be non-qualifying events for the younger athletes age 11 to 14.
“We are inviting Avent Sportif and Speedy Plus from the French side and Dynamic from the Dutch side of the Island. The qualifier is open to all athletes,” said Les Brown of the SAAAF.
Carifta will be held in the Bahamas at the end of March and beginning of April.
