CrossFit SXM athletes compete in Barbados

PHILIPSBURG--CrossFit SXM will be represented in Barbados at the Three-Day competition starting today. Making the trip are Alan Schet, Suzianne Duzong-Davis and Cameron Hyman.


  The trio has already competed in the CrossFit Open. The Open featured timed workouts that were sent via the internet to CrossFit gyms around the world. Each facility than recorded the results as their athletes attempted to complete the various exercises.
  Schet placed 354th, out of 20,000 participants. It was an improvement of more than 200 spots on the ranking, compared with 2016. 
   Duzong-Davis placed 548th out 12,000 participants in the Caribbean and Latin Region.
   Hyman was the most improved. He placed 959th in the region. He moved up 3,000 spots.
  The CrossFit SXM team is supported by Pineapple Pete’s, Sushiitto, Loumi Administrative and  LAB de MED.
