This past Sunday, June 11, 2017, Elvinia Stanford from the Avenir Sportif Club of St. Martin became champion of Guadeloupe in the 1000m Benjamines in a time of 3'39 '' at Les Abymes Stadium.
She participated with another athlete from the club Jewell Elice who finished 8th in the 1000m Minime Girls. Two coaches accompanied the athletes. This was Elvinia’s first participation in the championships of Guadeloupe. The Club congratulated the achievement of both girls.
