All About A Smile spreads holiday cheer

POND ISLAND--All About a Smile spread holiday joy to 10 needy families and 25 children on Thursday.
With the help of The Mailbox toys were collected as part of All About A Smile’s annual Christmas project.

The community helped Identify worthy recipients. Then it was off to Carrefour on the Bush Road. Ten large boxes of Christmas Groceries complete with turkeys were collected for
local families.
The boxes were taken to the St. Maarten Little League Ballpark on Pond Island and delivered to Player Development where they were shared out.
There were healthy drinks and holiday cookies for the children and to top it off Craig Murphy and Magician from the United States gave the children a wonderfully Magic show!
Things disappeared. Coins were found behind ears, a ketchup bottle in a bag burst into flames and cards dropped out of the magician’s mouth not once but twice.
The finale was a secret draw, where three young people were given IPADS.
All in all a wonderful day that All About a Smile was able to offer.
This is now year 4 of their yearly project. Organizers UK Author Jacky Rom and Jeff Jhangiani of DK Gems said, “We hope it continues for many years to come.”
