PHILIPSBURG--A woman well known to police threw two rocks at the front glass door of the Parlaiment building on Tuesday afternoon during the handling of the country's 2018 budget.
The Members of Parliament had just postponed the meeting for lunch when loud thumps we're heard coming from the front door.
Security and police officers on the scene restrained the woman and arrested her on site. Several Members of Parliament (MPs) came outside to see the commotion.
The woman is believed to be mentally challenged and the incident is under investigation, according to police.
