Quite a number of children enjoyed the fun activities offered at the third annual Summer Splash, recently hosted by St. Maarten Housing Development Foundation (SMHDF). Activities included water balloon fight, musical chair, swimming in the pool and water slides and paintings. All children received gifts and prizes, sponsored by a number of businesses. “Children love fun, water and games … They had immense fun with all the activities, especially the water balloon fights and toys they won … For a neighbourhood that does not have a public swimming pool, a splash to beat the heat is quite an inviting offer,” said SMHDF. The initiative was organized to ensure children had fun at no cost to them or their parents.
