As of today, Monday, Goldfinch Road is reduced to one lane.

POINT BLANCHE--The Ministry of Public Housing, Spatial Planning, Environment and Infrastructure VROMI has announced that works related to the Concrete Hard Resurfacing Project 2023-2024 will continue on Goldfinch Road in Point Blanche starting today, Monday, December 8.

The road works are scheduled to take place daily between 7:00am and 4:00pm and are expected to last approximately two weeks. During this period, Goldfinch Road will be reduced to one lane. Each work phase will require a working width of roughly 2.5 metres, allowing crews to safely carry out resurfacing activities while keeping traffic flow possible.

Parking for residents will remain available throughout the duration of the project. The Ministry urges residents and motorists to use the designated parking areas and to adhere to all posted signs and instructions from on-site personnel.

VROMI thanks the community for its cooperation and understanding as infrastructure upgrades continue in the area. For additional information, the public may contact the Ministry’s New Works Department at 542-4292 ext. 2403.
