Caretaker Minister Plenipotentiary Henrietta Doran York recently welcomed newly appointed Aruba Minister Plenipotentiary to The Hague Guilfred in St. Maarten House in The Hague.
They discussed several topics pertaining to the function of “minister plenipotentiary.” They wrapped up their meeting with the consensus that the three Dutch Caribbean countries, which includes Curaçao, should continue to maintain an open line of communication, to strive for the best cooperation and understanding, according to Doran-York’s Cabinet. This approach “will strengthen their ties in the interest of their governments and the people in their respective countries.”
