Urban swamp

Residents of Beacon Hill are still waiting for their constantly-flooded roads to be remedied. Each time it rains streets become rivers and some homes have water seeping through their doors. Water has also created stagnant “pools” complete with slimy green moss and mosquito habitats. Adding to the woes are residents who are letting their sewage overflow to the streets. The distressing situation has some residents at their wits’ end due to non-response from Government departments. In photos: The situation on Fan Coral Road.
