The driver of this car crashed into a house in Sandy Ground on Sunday morning. Fortunately no one was in the home at the time. Unconfirmed reports indicated the motorist was an apparently intoxicated Venezuelan man who was supposedly being chased by armed persons in another vehicle car. It was also reported that he had been uncooperative with Gendarmes who detained, but later released him. Duty officer Capitaine Régis Turlan Arto had not received the report of the incident Sunday evening by press time and therefore could not comment.
