SUCKER GARDEN--Police patrols and detectives of the Special Robbery Unit were sent to a house in Sucker Garden to investigate a home invasion on Friday evening. On the scene, the investigating officers encountered a lady who had been ill-treated during an armed robbery.
According to police, the woman stated that two men, one of whom was armed with a gun and dressed in dark clothing, had entered her premises and asked for money while pointing the gun at her. They proceeded to assault her and took her personal items.
Both men fled the scene after committing this act. The victim was taken to the hospital emergency room for medical assistance.
No suspect has been identified or arrested in this case.
