Trained canines

Members of the Justice K-9 Unit started their two-week re-certification training in October.

Trainer Dick van Leenen, stationed in Aruba, came to provide high-quality control and re-certification training. In addition to the regular re-certification on the existing disciplines of narcotics and firearms/ammunition, four of the dogs have also learned to detect a new scent, that of banknotes, and are now certified in that discipline. The police management team congratulates the police dogs and their handlers on the success they have achieved.
