Traffic controls  in St. Eustatius

ST. EUSTATIUS--Officers of the Caribbean Netherlands Police Force KPCN held traffic controls on Sandy Road and Van Tonningenweg in St. Eustatius in the morning hours of Tuesday, June 22.

  On Sandy Road, warnings were issued to various drivers. Vehicle road tax and insurance documents were found to be in order with all 14 vehicles that were checked.

  One female driver was in possession of a driver’s licence but could not show it on first demand. However, she was able to show her licence at the police station.

  A total of 32 vehicles were checked on Van Tonningenweg. There, seven drivers were ticketed for not having valid documents in their possession.
