Police conducted various traffic controls at different locations on the island over the weekend. A total of 80 vehicles were controlled, of which 29 had to have tint removed from the windows and three of these vehicles were confiscated in connection with criminal investigations. Eleven fines were issued in connection with the traffic laws and five persons were taken into custody related to residing on island without valid residence paperwork and/or ongoing criminal investigations.
