Students from Antigua pay visit to Anguilla

The Business Studies students from Antigua.

ANGUILLA--Last week fourteen Business Studies students from the Princess Margaret Secondary School in St. John’s, Antigua, visited Anguilla. They arrived on Sunday, June 10, accompanied by teacher Zona Vincere Barthley. The students who were fifteen to nineteen years of age began the week with a tour of the island.

Their placements started on June 12 and continued until Friday, June 15. The placements were at 11 government departments, ministries and banking institutions. They included the Ministry of Social Development, the National Chronic Disease Unit, the Physical Planning Department, National Commercial Bank of Anguilla, General Post Office, Radio Anguilla, the Environmental Health Unit and the Information Technology Department.

A report states that the business students enjoyed the friendly and embracing experience and extended thanks to all the institutions that hosted them.
