Status of tax reform in Parliament today

 

PHILIPSBURG--The status of tax reform in St. Maarten will be the topic of discussion when Members of Parliament (MPs) sit in an urgent public plenary session today, Monday, November 12, at 3:00pm.

The discussions will be the continuation of a meeting that had been adjourned on October 30.

Minister of Finance Perry Geerlings will be present. The meeting was requested by National Alliance (NA) MPs Christophe Emmanuel, Egbert Jurendy Doran and Silveria Jacobs and United St. Maarten party MP Frans Richardson. The public can follow the deliberations in person at the House of Parliament located across from the Court House in Philipsburg. The sessions can also be followed live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 115, 107.9fm, 98.1fm, www.sxmparliament.org; www.pearlfmradio.com and Parliament’s Facebook page: Parliament of Sint Maarten.
