ST. EUSTATIUS--St. Eustatius Lions Club Christmas Village came to a close on Saturday evening.

The Christmas Village allowed residents and visitors to enjoy lunch, dinner and snacks from various booths that sold food items.

Persons were able to obtain a booth for a small donation to the Lion’s Club. Quite a few persons took advantage of this offer. Twice daily, persons were able to purchase lunch and dinner of their choice.

On Saturday evening the Christmas Village was officially closed with live-entertainment by Turbulannzz Band. The music was so enticing that persons took to the floor to dance the night away.

At the end of the show Lions President Leonora Sneek-Gibbs took to the stage to thank all booth holders and all of those who had contributed to making the week a success.

She wished everyone best wishes for the holidays and a healthy and prosperous 2018.
