ST. EUSTATIUS--St. Eustatius had sporadic power on Tuesday afternoon due to a broken cable in Jeems. The fault has been repaired and continuous power restored.
St. Eustatius Utility Company Chief Executive Officer Fred Cuvalay made it clear that the outages had nothing to do with the solar park. After the first outage, the solar park was one of the places checked to determine the cause.
The island is powered daily by the solar park from 8:00am to 8:00pm.
