Bonaire special education primary school “Strea Briante” earned the “Best Film” title at the UNICEF Dutch Caribbean Child Rights Film Festival at The Cinemas in Curaçao last Saturday.
Winning teams from contests held on all the six islands that once formed the Netherlands Antilles competed with self-made movies depicting the Child Rights theme. The award ceremony attended by among others Governor Lucille George-Wout and Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath was part of the Curaçao International Film Festival Rotterdam (CIFFR) taking place on the island.
