Smith presents draft law study financing in Parliament today

PHILIPSBURG--Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Affairs (ECYS) Wycliffe Smith, will be presenting the draft national ordinance containing rules for granting study financing in a meeting of the Central Committee of Parliament today Friday, at 10:00am.

During the meeting MPs will also nominate a chairperson and members of the Monument Council.

The public can follow the deliberations in person at the House of Parliament located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.

The session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 115, 107.9fm, 98.1fm, www.sxmparliament.org, www.pearlfmradio.com and Parliament’s Facebook page: Parliament of Sint Maarten.
