Simpson Bay Beach

The construction of a parking lot next to Simpson Bay Beach in the area called "Kim Sha" started on Monday and should be completed in some 80 working days.

The lot will have 175 spaces of which six will be designated for differently-abled people. The concrete pavement of the lot will ensure minimal damage in the hurricane season. The lot should alleviate the parking situation in Simpson Bay, said Infrastructure Minister Angel Meyers. This project is the first phase in government's plans to upgrade Simpson Bay strip. Windward Roads Infrastructure is constructing the lot.
