SER meets MPs on 2017 Report today

PHILIPSBURG--The Social and Economic Council SER will discuss its 2017 Year Report with Members of Parliament in a Central Committee meeting today, Tuesday, starting at 9:00am.

  SER is an independent advisory organisation of the country. The council consists of three representatives of employers organisations, three representatives of employees organisations, and three independent experts. Each board member has a substitute member. The chairman of the board is an independent expert. The board is assisted by the SER secretariat.

  SER provides government with solicited and unsolicited advice on all important social and economic issues.

  The public parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 115, SXM GOV radio 107.9FM, Pearl Radio 98.1FM,
