SDA Church Usher Dept. holds Red/White Banquet

  St. EUSTATIUS--The Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church’s Usher Department hosted a Red and White Banquet on Sunday night.

  The event, which started at 7:00pm, was held at Mike van Putten Youth Centre/Lion’s Den and went on until late at night. Individuals and couples were dressed to the nines in either red or white, or a mixture of the two.

  The attendees were ushered to their seats by youngsters of the SDA church assisted by Maria van Putten. The night was fun-filled and the attendees spoke of having a wonderful and enjoyable evening with wonderful food and great company.

  The last Taste of the Cultures of 2018 is scheduled to take place today, Thursday, December 27, starting at 6:00pm. There will be seven booths taking part in the event, where a variety of national dishes from around the Caribbean and the world will be on display. Entertainment and activities are set to take place as well.
