St. Maarten Academy PSVE students Adriana Peterson of class B4A and Rohini Murarilal of Form P4A presented Shelly Alphonso of Positive Foundation with a donation from the school in appreciation of the foundation’s work. The donation was raised by students and staff, some of whom wore pink on Wednesday, October 31, with the hope that the contribution will assist to advance the foundation’s efforts to bring awareness about Breast Cancer. The idea for the school’s participation this year originated with Form 4 student Adriana Peterson who lost three members of her family to cancer.
