Rotary cleans town

Rotary Club of St. Maarten said on Sunday, “Nothing is impossible when you really have the help of so many who really care about Country St. Maarten.” More than 400 volunteers participated in the Club’s clean-up of Philipsburg. The Club said this is a step closer to being ready to welcome visitors back to the island. Rotary thanked CC1, Windward Roads and Electec for the trucks to haul away debris, trash and some stuff the group had never seen before. President of Parliament Sarah Wescot Williams was present to assist with the clean-up. Other organisations joined the Rotary Club, chipped in and assisted where needed.
