Residents and others traversing in and out of Pointe Blanche are not only facing the ongoing traffic jams due to the road/trenching works, but also the rudeness of fellow drivers, in particular taxis from the port.
Taxi drivers, instead of waiting in the queue, are driving up alongside the queue as seen in this photo and nosing their way in farther up. Aside from the continuous display of disrespect from taxis, the Royal Dutch Marines have also joined in. They have been noticed several times doing the same as the taxis.
