Regional customs entity 

Justice Minister Cornelius de Weever headed a delegation to Cuba to attend the 41st Caribbean Customs Law Enforcement Council Conference May 20-24. During this time De Weever signed a treaty called “Agreement establishing the Caribbean Customs Organisation and on mutual administrative assistance in Customs matters.” De Weever said of the conference, “The theme of the conference – Unity: Today, Tomorrow, Together – is much in line with the objectives of the Caribbean Customs Organisation.” Other countries and territories that attended the conference were Anguilla, Aruba, Curaçao, the Cayman Islands, Haiti, Jamaica, the Netherlands, Turks and Caicos, the United Kingdom, France, Montserrat, the British Virgin Islands, Guyana, the Dominican Republic, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and Antigua and Barbuda.
