ST. EUSTATIUS--Members of the Reconstruction Committee were out and about Monday visiting homes where reconstructions were completed and homes that were near completion.
One home which was visited Monday experienced a setback during the pouring of the concrete roof. The modern concrete boom truck which was used to pour concrete malfunctioned, after which a large crane with a large bucket was brought in to pour concrete for the roof to be completed.
Homes in St. Eustatius that suffered damages from Hurricanes Irma and Maria are being repaired by a project funded by the Dutch Government.
